9 Things to do at Paris Photo – November 13, 2014
« In May 1871, after two months of bitter fighting between Parisian leftist and the French government, the rebels were brutally repressed by the national army. At the time, the fallen were photographed on their stretcher without much ceremony. Once numbered these images were displayed in front of the City Hall for family and friends to identify the deceased. The gallery Grafika La Estampa and Adnan Sezer recovered 48 of these portraits, some of which feature the name of the Military School official photographer, Y.Bondi, in the back. Each of these portraits bears the brutality of violent repression and the serenity of repose. As a set, their historical and aesthetic value is undeniable. It was sold to a collector almost as soon as the fair opened. Unless a museum manages to buy it off, this might be the only time they will be seen in public. »

Forbidden for Jews – November 15, 2012
In the exhibition “Art at war” of the Museum of Modern Art in Paris, a photo shows in 1942 the prohibition of Jewish children in public gardens. The museum shows a recent reprint. The photo dealer Adnan Sezer offers him, in his catalog, a “vintage” print, produced by a press agency.

Le très célèbre quotidien web LesEchos.fr présente la vente d’une partie des archives photographiques du « Herald Tribune ». En tant qu’expert agréé et conseiller de collections, Adnan Sezer, fondateur d’ADN Patrimoine a témoigné sur la subjectivité de ces enchères en prenant pour exemple une précédente vente similaire :
« Les images sont parties dans une gamme de prix allant de 100 euros jusqu’à 15.000 euros pour une photo signée Cartier-Bresson. Cela dit, un tirage représentant un jeune soldat allemand a suscité un intérêt très fort jusqu’à atteindre 4.000 euros, tandis qu’un autre, particulièrement abouti qui illustrait le conflit en Irlande du Nord, n’a atteint que 150 euros.
